I would not live here again

I lived at River Oaks for three years and just recently moved out. Every year the grounds and the management became worse. I had several friends that lived there and I believe as of April we will all have moved out to other locations. Just this year they raised the rent but I have a hard time understanding why. The workout facility is rediculous. The majority of the machines are old and you will probably still want to join a gym if you are serious about working out. The up keep of the pool was also a problem. The landscape was neglected, the grill was never cleaned, the restrooms were always out of toliet paper. Over the summer my friends and I would have to bring our own!!! There were also a very limited amount of lawn chairs available for use. I know of at least three residents who ended up buying their own so they would have a place to sit when they went to the pool. The upkeep of all of the buildings in general has been an issue. My neighbors dishwasher was broke for over a month before they fixed it. The leasing manager needs a leson in customer service. He seems to forget that the residents are paying to live at River Oaks and acts like he is doing them a favor just by speaking to them. I have never had a good experience when dealing with him. Snow removal is also a problem. One of my neighbors shoveled the snow for us in the winter. If you look you will be able to find a better deal in a better location!
