do not trust a word that comes out of this guys mouth, he will tell you whatever it takes get his desired outcome. i have lived here 4 years and never once been late on my payment, one month i paid it on the 5th (which i was under the impression was the due date) and he tells me that it is late fees are applied if payment is recieved after the 4th. i say "ok im sorry, ive lived here four years, im one day late, can you give me a break'" he says, with a straight face, "i cant give you a break and not give everyone else one too, if i did that I COULD GO TO JAIL due to discrimination laws."
(i dont think i need to give you my name, you know who i am)

every year come renewal he tries to raise my rates 50 bucks a month. when i debate him on this he tells me there is a line of people waiting for my apt. then he proceeds to give the discrimination line again. however any time i call in the middle of my lease to ask him if i could let one of these people "IN LINE" have my apt, there are none.

i had the maintenance come to fix my bathroom plumbing. i come home to find a nasty mess of p-trap goo under my sink on my floor and in my bathroom trash bin (which used to have a bag in it but now only has goo). in the four years i have lived here i have seen drywall repairs that resemble a 4 year old playing in the mud, a screen door that will never work, and windows that you can almost feel the wind coming straight through.

i have spoken to fellow residents who all had their own stories, similar to my own, that reflect the lack of any care whatsoever of the staff for the residents. you get the impression that they think that their jobs is solely to collect our money. anything outside of that and you are really interrupting their day. this will be our last year here, i feel somewhat responsible when i see someone signing a lease in the office to let them know what they are in for, maybe this post will help.

p.s. those trashy garage sale looking yard signs that say "luxury apts" are not conveying luxury, only desperation... why not get a man in a clown suit to hold them that might get the point across.

I could not agree more about the signs out front... Lime green signs with smiley faces and red and yellow banners on the leasing office are not my idea of luxury... I hate pulling in with guests and having to pass that tackiness every time. If there is this big line of people waiting for apartments then why do we need those signs? (My rent went up $50 as well between leases... funny how they blame it on the current market rates yet it is a standard $50 across the board for every renewal... not to mention if were really based on the current market our rent would be lowered and not raised).
