Mr. Manager... You keep wondering why everyone is posting anonymously. Why in the world would anyone post their name' So you can find some reason to evict us for complaining'

On another post you mentioned that the law does not say you could be held liable for injuries sustained from a hazardous condition you knew about. You might want to re-check some case law regarding this subject. You have a duty of care to ensure your property is free of hazardous conditions. If the person who fell on the ice filed suit against you, who do you think the jury would side with'

I realize that as a property manager you have to "bear the brunt" of resident complaints. Don't you think after hearing the same complaints over and over, it is time to make a change' Whether you want to admit it or not, you are in the customer service business. The residents are your customers and are paying to live here. Many of us moved in under the old management, which was remarkably better. The fact alone that you have 32% user rating should tell you something. Obviously, you can not make everyone happy all the time, but come on!!! You have control over the maintenance and the fact that this complex has become increasingly trashy since you took over management. What are you doing with all our extra rent money''' Is it too much to ask that you put some of that towards cleaning up the place' (Mowing more than once a month in the summer, cleaning up the trash, cleaning up the pool and workout facilities, fixing the hot tub, stocking the pool bathrooms with paper towels and toilet paper, throwing salt down on the sidewalks when it's icy, etc.)

As far as your comment about people continuing to live here regardless of the complaints.... You have to realize that there are many factors associated with deciding to move. There are costs associated with moving ie., new security deposit, pet deposit, moving truck, gas, boxes, etc. Look at the decline of our country's economy....not exactly the best time to move. Other factors can include the time it takes to pack, having to take off work to move and get unpacked again, the proximity of this particular place in relation to the resident's place of employment, etc. People not moving does not mean they love living here. I know several of my neighbors that have moved within the last year because of your management style and lack of care for your community.

With all that said, if I could afford to move, I would and I would not reccomend to anyone that I know to move here. I hope you take all these complaints to heart and make an effort to improve your community before it dwindles away to nothing. When I first moved in there was a two month waiting list. Now there are several vacant apartments in my building alone. What does that tell you'

I think that is a awsome complaint do to the fact that i am in the same boat as this person. I have put a work order in for 7 months and have called numerous times about it and the joke of a manager has still never done anything about it. I pay 1100 a month to this place and still have the mildew on the walls from when i moved in and they said they would take care of it.
