I have lived in RW Tower for 3 years, only because my roommate didn't want to move out and I was stuck.

The first year was alright, some annoyances, but then it just got worse. Every football game or concert, they hold massive beer parties in the parking lot, forcing you to move your car or leave for the night. If you do choose to stay, watch your car like a hawk, because people will pee on it, hit it with footballs, and generally disrespect the property. I blame the apartment complex for this, because they hold these parties simply to make more money. As a nursing student, I often would have to be up really early (to take care of those drunks in the ER the next day), and I could barely sleep because of the noise from the RW-sponsored parties in the parking lot.

It's a furnished apartment but the furniture is crap. The dishwasher has rust on it and the hot water in the shower lasts about 3 minutes. The laundry room is big and has new machines, but they are constantly broken.

What I can't stand the most is the owner. I had a government official in my apartment a few months ago to do a background check for a friend, and he told me about the numerous complaints about the owners at the BBB. Two brothers own the place and they buy new porsches every year and live in million dollar houses in UA. They make their fortunes off naive foreign students and people like me.

The biggest concern is the security. Sure, it seems secure. But the security guards are paid minimum wage and all they do is watch tv all night and hand out parking passes. They could care less about watching for intruders. In the fall of this year, a girl was raped in the parking lot and I had to find out about it in the campus newspaper. The management did nothing in response.

If you want a nice place, live away from campus. The campus area is not safe and all of the landlords are sharks and make their money off of cheating college students. You can get a much better deal just a few miles up the road.
