I've lived in Runaway Bay for four years and would discourage anyone from moving into these apartments. Basically, the only reason we stay is because my roommate and I are too lazy to move again. The apartments are more than 20 years old and they are starting to fall apart. Our roof leaks, the drains run slow, our appliances have never been replaced. The staff in the leasing office can be incredibly rude at times, however maintenance workers have always been polite when fixing anything that has gone wrong in the apartment. We've experienced random charges to our accounts on more than one occasion and calls to the office to have it fixed are rarely returned in a timely manner. We are paying well over fair market value for the apartment yet every interaction with the leasing office results in an attitude of we're doing them the favor for living there. If you are relocating to Columbus, stay away from Runaway Bay!
