total nightmare!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I lived at Sawmill Village for? too long! The apartments are old, but okay. The management is horrible! The girls in the leasing office are terribly rude and inconsiderate, especially Michelle. The leasing office posts notes on everyone?s doors every chance they get. Notes placed on your doors claim all sorts of things, and when you call to confront them on the issue, no one is available and no one returns your call. Usually, they are asking for more money. For the first year I had no idea what my rent was because they kept changing it!
Maintenance- For the small problems they are fine, but beware if you have a serious problem that cost money to fix. It took them almost a year to fix a leak in our roof. We had a huge leak in the bedroom, another by the fireplace and another at the entrance. It was terrible. They just tried to use paint to cover it up.
The amenities are terrible. In the years I lived there the sauna was broken on several occasions, TV room was closed down, tanning bed was always broken and then taken away. They had to put cameras in the gym because tenants were stealing gym equipment.
Safety ? both our cars got broken into. I had to pay for a garage after that. Management was not concerned about the crime in the complex at all. They just told us they were not responsible for damage to our cars.
It took several days for someone to clean the blood someone left on the handrail up to our apartment.
Parking is by far the worst problem here. If you arrive home after 8 pm forget it! Another reason to get a garage was to park near our building.
I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
