Horrible Apt - Pathetic Maintenance Service - Can Anyone help me to Sue ACE'

This is really horrible apartment to stay...From the day I been moved here we have calling maintenance guys daily for all sorts of problem..Yes you can find all sorts of problem here..I am listing few here -
1. Apt keys were not available at the time of move in
2. Apt was dirty
3. One of the exhaust fan was not working
4. Leaky faucets
5. AC was not working properly
6. Some of the electric point not working and they are still not working..
7. Service Request were not registered on time.
There were few small problems which I have not listed here.
I am really fed up of this place within less than a month.
PLEASE THINK TWICE..THRICE...BEFORE MOVING...

I am going on 4 years here. It was a great place until -------- took over the office. She is arrogant, rude and does not have a clue how to manage an apartment complex. They, the office staff and maintenance have frequently been horrible to me, refused to fix things unless I sent requests by email it is the only way to get them to respond. I frequently have to put in 3 requests to get anything done. They have yelled at me, attempted to intimidate me. I would be happy to sue, let me know who you are. I have a lot of it in writing. I will only communicate with the office through email, it is the only way I can control what they are doing to me. I know of several other residents that feel the same way. IT IS TERRIBLE HERE! Not one good thing to say after 1 1/2 yrs. Parking is TERRIBLE! Lighting, considering how far you have to walk at night is beyond bad. I was told by office staff after 2 mths of complaining, that they were installing a new lighting system which was costing Sawmill Village thousands and thousands of dollars. WHERE IS IT? That was over 2 mths.ago. This person in the office told me she had driven through the lot at night and agreed it was totally unsafe and something had to be done. To date - nothing - I guess it will take someone being raped before they will respond. I would think this community could be accused of false advertising considering 1/2 of their ammenities they promote to suck you in - do not work. Utility bills - I have complained and ask for resolve for 1 yr. in re: to my a.conditioner. My electric typically runs $57. a mth.,which is ridiculous for a 1 bdrm. apt. The last 2 mths. - $147. due to using my a.conditioner. I have contacted AEP and the rental office and can get no repsonse other than a new furnace filter. THEY DON"T CARE - it is not $147. out of their pocket. After 1 1/2 yrs. I was about 8 hrs. late with my rent - I had been at the hospital over night where my 26 yr.old daughter had been diagnosed terminally ill. I went to the rental office, obviously not in very good shape, told them what had happened and they said they could not waive the $50. late chrg. UNBELIEVABLE! I have never been late since moving here and here is a crisis and they say pay up! This says all about ever single person who works in this community. Have you attempted to contact AEC Communities in Cleveland yet? GOOD LUCK! They refer everything back to the rental office...they will not even return a call or email. Have you thought about trying to schedule a renters meeting...let's get together and see what we might be able to do. I know there are many unhappy people there. Let's put flyers on doors and schedule a meeting. Let's try to do something about this - if you look back at reviews of this community - 80% are negative. This should speak for something. Let's get an attorney involved - maybe a renters meeting with an attorney present for a consultation and advice as to what we can do.

I feel for you guys. Your right management is horrid, I have been out of my apartment for about 6 months and I still have nightmares. At least now my 3 bedroom 1917 house has a lower electric bill then my "modern" sawmill village 2 bdrm apartment. Go figure!

Set up the renters meeting. I will attend. I've lived here for over 3 years and there are MANY issues that need attention that they are ignoring. There is stength in numbers.

starter of this post was to call for meeting. just fyi .. i went to give check today and asked about water .. one sweet girl said all are saying same . .we have asked water department to come and see if we have leak in grounds. this should fix problem. I am saying even 45 dollar a month is high water charge anyway .. we need to find out what is real common bill amount is. I feel they must be putting common water use like office water, pool water on our heades. they are not supposed to do that by contract.

You all need to get a life. Why don't you just move out? Oh, is it because you all just like to ----- about everything? Grow up. And Mr. "I have lived here 3 years"- What is your excuse? Move out!!!!!!!! What is wrong with you people? Move out!!!!!
