I just moved into the Saw Mill Village Apartments a month ago. I found the place looking at several complexes in the area. Of the seven I looked at, this had it all, location, square footage, style, amenities, and cleanliness. I read the negative reviews before touring, and just couldn't believe them. The management is first rate, the maintenance guys super, the apartment is HUGE, the clubhouse blows my mind, and the view out my window as I eat dinner or watch TV is amazing. I can't wait for the warmer weather to jog around the lake. Right now in winter, we are taking advantage of the indoor pool, something that NO other apartment complex that I found had. Once we moved in, the apartment felt more like a house than an apartment. The location is awesome in that its a stone's throw from Saw Mill Drive and shopping, but away from the main flow of traffic. It is quiet and WELL worth the price paid. I recommend this place to anyone!

Ya right.. Management. Get real. I posted with my username and signed the stuff when registering which asked if you are management and the like. Pretty sure that this would be considered fraud if I was associated with the property. I'm just a resident who looked at a BUNCH of properties and this one was the best of them. I notice that you are posting as "anonymous". Obviously you are someone who may have lived here and didn't get their trivial problems taken care of fast enough, or the attention you THINK you deserved. Get a life. No place is perfect, every place has problems, its the way that the management takes care of them and how they treat you that is the telling of the tale. I was in the military for 22 years and lived in anything from a dorm/barracks, to base housing, to my own house. This place is one of the better. Its not perfect, but they do a great job and try their best. I called the management a dozen times in my first week living here to fix this and that. When folks leave, an apartment may not be left by the most gentle of folks. Management and maintenance do their best to get the place up to specs and to fix things to the new residents liking. Saw Mill Village has done that and continue to do so. I have also talked to maintenance numerous times (heck I invited the guy who came here that dozen times the first week to my "house warming" for a beer), they are pretty above board on what is wrong with the place and they are super. I tell them of a problem and they are here that day or next. Ya, there are ducks droppings, but the kids enjoy looking at them on the water, throwing them treats, and the view is pretty cool across the lake at night. Read reviews for anywhere and for anything, and there will always be folks who have a bad experience with this or that and take to these forums and review sites to just trash talk and give a very one sided viewpoint on the situation. My philosophy in life is to praise as loudly as I complain. So far this place is concerned, it has deserved my praise. And again, I'm not management and I am not being paid for my endorsement (dang!)...
