PROS:

Sterling Place isn't the newest apartment complex, but the grounds have been well-maintained, so it looks newer. My apartment was well-maintained and nice to live-in. It's in a great area of Columbus - there is a lot of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment just a short drive away, some even within walking distance. I lived there for 17 months, and the only reason I moved out was because the market was ripe for home ownership. In fact, I moved into the condo complex right next door because I love the area so much. Maintenance is very responsive. I only had 3 minor issues the entire time I lived there, and they were each resolved within the same day I called to report them. I thought the staff was very nice and responsive.

CONS:

I have to be honest, there are A TON of geese/ducks around this complex and their droppings are everywhere. I could barely use my balcony because there was so much crap everywhere (literally). Also, many people in the complex have dogs but are not responsible enough to clean up after them, so the green space is mostly covered with dog poop. In addition, there is not much snow/ice clean-up unless it is really, really bad, so you're kind of on your own as far as that goes.

OVERALL:

I think Sterling Place is affordable and reasonably-priced. I don't think a perfect apartment complex exists, but with Sterling Place, I would say the good definitely outweighs the bad. I would certainly recommend it to a friend or family member.
