Would not recommend; decent apartments with inconsistent management and maintenance

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
The only reason I remained here this long is I was waiting to make my next move into a house. Tenants seem to be poorly screened, as I have witnessed quite a few evictions on my street alone. I'm sure police know the complex. I've seen them make a couple of arrests late at night.
Have had an electrical problem since Day 1 that management basically told me to just live with it. A management change in Spring 2003 brought a very brief spurt in enforcing the rules. Furnace filters were changed once or twice, but that did not last. Vistor/resident parking areas are not enforced. Lots are poorly lit. Some apartments have dilapidated miniblinds hanging in the windows and window shutters lying on the ground, providing a poor picture of a badly maintained complex that is only 2 to 3 years old. It's apparent they just want to get the apartments filled, and provide no followup service afterward. Higher occupancy, whether people pay or not, means the company can borrow more money to build more apartments and condos. Tiny garages are overpriced at $50(') a month. Clubhouse rental requires an enormous deposit and an outrageous fee. Manager is not the most courteous. Asst. managers are okay. I would most definitely not recommend Templeton Crossing.
