We have lived at Tepleton for 15 months and are getting out ASAP! When we moved in, our apartment was roach invested. We went down to the office the day we moved in to complain. They said that we had to have our dog out of the house and they would have someone come in and take care of it. They set 3 bombs off in the apartment. Not to mention, whoever came in and did it got tar all over the carpet, which I'm sure we'll get blamed for. After a week, the roach problem didn't go away. It actually go worse. Again, we went down to complain. They told us it took awhile for the bug bombs to take effect. A couple weeks later, we went down to complain again. They told us they'd call in an outside company to do the work. When we got home, there wasn't a work order or anything to show what was done. The only thing we could figure is they put a few roach hotels in our cabinets. We've complained a couple of times since then, and nothing has ever been done. We still have roaches, and it's disgusting. Now we will have to wash everything as we move out so that we don't take them with us!
Some more complaints' The parking is horrible. Especially since they've put in the concrete edging, which makes the parking lot a heck of a lot smaller. You can't even back out of a spot without pulling forward and backing out a couple of times. The management is rude. They only enforce the rules they choose to enforce. When you mention something to them about it, they say they can't do anything about it. And the water bill is shared. They take the total water consumption of your building and divide the cost among the apartments. We started out paying about $10-$13 a month. But once large families moved in, and we started to get 10 people per apartment, the consumption went up. We now pay almost $40/month for the water bill. Good luck with this place!
