Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
We recently stayed at gardens in between a house lease and a house purchase.
We have teenager and 2 yr old. Teenager had bus to Olentangy schools at the entrance to the apartments, and loved being close to shopping behind the apartments. Two year old loved the pool, and walking around the pond with the ducks / geese. The back gate to Polaris was very helpful.
Overall, the community is well kept.
Nice pool for kids, good exercise equipment, nice common area at the office.
Front office staff is helpful and efficient.
Maintenance folks are run of the mill, though, you have to stay on them to get things fixed. (My only real complaint about the place.)
Our apartment had many nice touches that I appreciated. We had one of the 3 BR 2 BA. Large closets, crown molding, brand new carpet and linoleum.
Parking - We packed half our old house into the large 1 car garage and parked both cars. We had no trouble finding parking within sight of the apartment.
Noise - generally fine. We were downstairs, our upstairs neighbors we heard hoof steps from, our next door neighbor we only heard his car parking (needs muffler fixed) when in the kitchen. You can hear Germain amphitheatre when you're outside during concerts at the NE end.
