I would have to disagree with most of the negative reviews on the Meridian. I have lived here for almost 1 year and I enjoy the convenience and curb appeal of the property. I absolutely love this area.

I'm actually writing this review after being in the office last week and listening to one of the residents after being towed. As for towing, I support it 100 percent. Some residents think the parking garage is a 'free for all' and they can park whereever they want. I who obey by the parking policies find it quite humorous actually to see some of the residents acting like idiots in the leasing office when themselves or visitors are towed when the parking policies are made quite clear. I mean how many parking notices can we get. I simply dont get what the big deal is!

And I personally have had no problem with any office staff. They were really helpful when I moved in.

I really believe that The Meridian is one of the nicest places that I have ever lived and I would recommend it.

Thats weird , you started out by saying it was "one resident" last week", to saying "some of the residents" "acting like idiots". Sounds like you changed your story, Do you perhaps work in the office?

I DID NOT POST THE ABOVE POSTING, HOWEVER AS AN EMPLOYEE AND A RESIDENT OF THE MERIDIAN I DO CHECK THE POSTINGS FROM TIME TO TIME. I BELIEVE THAT THE MERIDIAN IS A WONDERFUL PROPERTY, AS WELL AS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. THE MERIDIAN HAS A LOT OF POSITIVE OPTIONS AND AMENITIES TO OFFER ITS RESIDENTS. IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS ABOUT THE ABOVE POSTINGS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT OUR OFFICE AT #614-291-0027.

To Nicole and the rest of the Meridian staff: Reality hurts but the job in supporting your residents really leaves a lot to be desired. If it bothers you to see bad reviews here then start treating people with more tact. What's the point of living there if every time one needs to go to the office the staff treats you like they are better than everybody else. I dont care how pretty your apts are if the people working at the office have no skills in working with public. This attitude makes your office staff come accross as uneducated and not classy at all. Surprising for a place that aims to give the impression of being very chic, the office staff is very rough around the edges.

Except for maybe one exception, the overwhelming majority of the staff at the main office need to have a complete review of their attitudes. What somebody said in another review, IS true, you guys make clients wait for 15-20 min while selling the "dream" of living in the meridian to someone new. If you treated your present residents with more finesse people would stay even longer, instead of buying a house or running somewhere else like they currently do. I have personally yet to meet someone happy living at the Meridian after more than a couple months.

In fact, I dare the administration to send questionnaires about how the current residents feel about living at the Meridian. If the office staff is so sure that there is only a few of their residents so unhapppy then why not do some kind of poll, for people living there longer than three months. One per apt for the whole complex... I promess you it will be an eye opening experience.
I can surely tell you the happiest day I have spent in Columbus was the day I moved out of the Meridian and there is no force in this world that would make go back there, (even with free rent), until the management undergoes major change in attitude and customer service mentality.

And for the poor people that are stuck with more than a couple months on their leases I can only advise that next time you go to the office and they mistreat you in front of prospective residents make a point if warning the "new resident" RIGHT then and THERE about the the attitude changes that suddenly spring up after signing the lease. Maybe this way next time you go into the office they will give you your package faster. ;)

That's all. Have a good day... ;)
