First time Columbus renter...disappointed

I went out of my price range for safety and proximity to my job. I cannot see myself renewing my lease or working with the mangaging company again. For 2 months I've had to deal with upstair neighbors blaring music and TV. I made notes of the occurences and was told that the leasing staff could not intervene with police enforcement because they'd be liable for harassment. This sounded odd and I called Columbus Police dept. They said as the landlord/property manager they have an obligation to ensure my peace and safety. So, now as a single female I've got file a report, worry if my apt or car will be vandalized because leasing staff refuses to enforces the rent guidelines (no loud music past 10pm) I've talked and written letters to staff and surprise, no response. If you want to pay almost $700 for 1BR with all the charm of on-campus living clientele, this place is for you
