I've lived in 6 apartments over the past 8 years and The Meridian is one of the nicest layouts by far. I love having my own bathroom (as does my roommate) and we have plenty of room and extremely large closets. Parking for us is no problem. We have attached garage parking and my boyfriend stays over a lot and just adheres to the visitor rules and rarely has a problem. They have also just instituted a new parking system utilizing stickers which I think will begin to help everyone out more.
There are things that could be improved. The stairwells are dirty, sometimes the help staff can be a bit rude and I am contantly hearing our neighbors upstairs, but you honestly get that in any complex and you have to just decide what you are willing to put up with and what you aren't. One of the best things here is that there is no gas bill - just electric, so we are saving about $200 per month over living in an older Grandview apartment, like we had previously. I also think the location is ideal to working downtown and wanting to enjoy the city's nightlight regularly, and everything you need as far as grocery and banks are less than a mile away.
The only other downfall is that I am a 28 year old professional and there are many students living here, who I believe are the bulk of the problem with dirty common areas and loud music/behavior on the weekends. I know I partied it up in college, but I didn't live in $1000 apartments, either, where adults were living. Some kids just get it easy, I guess.
In the end, this is a nice place that offers great living space, but the grounds and neighbors can get to you sometimes. You just have to weight what's the most important to you in the end.

The well she's right there is no gas all the appliences are electric, but I think the new parking stickers won't help, they can just take the parking stickers off save a visitor spot, and the VISITOR spots are sopposed to be less then 24 hours, right. . . . I've never seen them tow, and there have been people who have just left their cars there for weeks!!
