I am completing my fourth year at The Meridian and can't wait until my lease is over. The only reason I've stayed this long is that I truly hate moving and it is so close to campus where I work. When first move din, the atmosphoere wasn't so "college life" -

The parking is AWFUL and the towing policy for guests is worse...I am forced to park in a different building (garage) even though I have spots right at my front window.

The people who work in the office are rude and disrespectful. One example, the furnace in my apartment blew a regulator and was running non-stop. I noticed when I received my electric bill and it was $270.00 (normally $85.00). Anyway, I called AEP and they said it was billed correctly and something wrong with the furnace. I told a Meridian manager and she insisted that this was not there responsbility because the furnace was not part of the apartment complex. With my jaw on the floor I told her I would need the address of their home office because I was going to have to pursue legal action. The next day, the regional manager called and told me I would be getting a full refund for the overage on the furnace bill.

There is dog crap all over, not only in the yards and the sidewalks, but multiple times in the HALLWAY of my building and no one ever cleans it up.

Last, but certainly not least, is the price. This, I do not blame the Meridian becuase if people are willing to pay so much, then this is what they can charge. I was my choice to stay and pay this rediculous rent ($779 for one bedroom).

I would never recommend anyone, friend or foe, to sign a lease with this complex.
