the only reason i didn't give these guys a 1 is bc it's brand new. the apartments are actually fairly nice. but like a lot of people have said, the staff sucks. once they get you in, they just come off seeming like they could care less what happens to you. had my car towed after 1 week of living there bc i parked in the wrong designated spot. granted, it was probably my fault for being negligent, but they seem way too "ok" with towing. my guess is they have a nice little business contract with the towing company (shamrock). if you have a tag, and you park in a visitor's spot after a certain time of day, you get towed. if you park in an area other than your "designated color", which btw, aren't clearly deliniated on the property, you get towed. i understand the reasoning... but honestly, does it warrant towing' you'd think if they wanted to actually keep good residents, they'd be a little smarter with their policies.

not even counting the towing, they're just not very nice. they seem to have this "aloof" vibe that rubs me wrong. i don't care if they're charging high prices, it doesn't mean they're better than everyone else.

if you can't stand older, or slightly lower class apartments and need to be within walking or biking distance to OSU, you may not have an option - go with these guys. if you're ok with a short drive, and decent service from what i hear, live at the Quarry. if you can compromise a little quality, in the name of excellent customer service, reasonable prices, and just an overall fun experience, i'd suggest going with runaway bay. the staff at runaway bay is awesome, and floating down the quarry in an innertube in the middle of the summer with your friends can't be beat.
