I lived here for a year and didn't renew my lease. The rent was expensive, but it was a fairly nice place. However, the management is horrible. They offer a "one-time security deposit" that's cheaper than the $500 deposit, but what they don't tell you is this cheaper "deposit" is really to pay a membership to some kind of program, where the Meridian simply sends your charges to after you move out (and you still have to pay them!) They also do not explain this to you.
If you lose the miniscule pool pass (seriously- it's 1-inch by 1-inch) they charge you $150. Why even have a pool-pass to begin with' You have to have a key to enter the pool area. Just another way to get your money.
There's a Jiffy Lube on one-side and train tracks on the other side of the complex, so you're surrounded by noise. If you rub a fork on the counter it seems to scratch it. However, it turned out these "scratches" were really a poor paint job on the countertops, and the fork simply scratched the paint. Obviously countertops weren't meant to be painted.
I've moved on to a cheaper, nicer and larger apartment. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I was one of the negative reviewers. My only hope is that the staff reads these, and they're attempting to fix their image, resulting in responses like the one above. We'll see as more reviews come out.
