think BEFORE you rent here

"Luxurious", "refined", "classy"... Just a few words the Meridian uses as propaganda to sway potential renters. Unfortunately I bought into the whole facade, but once my lease was signed it was a totally different story. Nearly every night I could hear loud, obnoxious college kids partying and acting like morons. I literally knew exactly where my upstairs neighbor was in her apartment at all times because I could hear footsteps through the ceiling. The upkeep was subpar to say the least, with beer bottles and trash littering the hallway a lot of times. When I signed my lease I was also under the belief that it was a secure facility. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The doors can easily be opened without a sensor and a lot of times some "secure" doors didn't even lock. The office staff, in general, were rude and short with me. Parking is absolutely atrocious! The only positive the Meridian has going for it is the location... but it's really not worth all the cons I had to deal with as a resident. If I could do it differently I would have definitely looked and moved elsewhere.
