I first moved in about 10 months ago after hearing canal winchester was a nice area. I hadnt had many problems in the first 3 months. After this time, the complex became worse, especially with crime. I think management has become desperate to get tenents into the apt. complex and are letting anyone in. In the last 3 months Ive noticed drug deals and two of my neighbors are dead...one of which was suicide but he decided to blast his brains out in the parking lot. It was a horrible site to see and this is NOT a very safe place to live especially if you have children. Cops constantly patrol now, which is somewhat good, but them having to be here that much in the first place should tell you something.

I have been on the property for 2 months now and I have not seen any of that. I have not seen any drug deals or the like. I have only seen the cops once and it wasn't for anything wrong, they were just passing through which, in my opinion, is not a bad thing. I live in one of the new 3 bedroom townhomes and i love my place.

I thought The Moors was really nice and roomy on the inside So I signed what I was told was a " hold agreement" for a townhome and was also told to put a $100 deposit down to hold the unit since I wasn't able to move in for two weeks. We'll I'm hear to say don't trust this read the so called "hold agreement" throughly. Management lied to me and when I tried to get my money back the blond haired manager tried to say that if I changed my mind I lost my money and it stated that in "tiny" writing on the agreement. This is why they only take money orders or cashier checks for deposit becuase these items are harder to stop. (Well luckily for me my cashier check was from my bank and I put a stop payment on it and didn't have to pay a fee. I got my money back before they presented it. LOL ha, ha, ha). The reason I changed my mind was my friend told me about this site and after reading reviews and driving out to The Moors at night I saw police cars, people sitting out talking loudly, cursing, music playing loudly and thugs actually selling drugs. I'm so glad I changed my mind and got my money back before it was too late. The manager will lie so before you give any money READ THE HOLD AGREEMENT THROUGHLY. As a matter of fact my advice is to not even move there.
