first, don't expect your security deposit back.
that will NEVER happen.
they will lie about you to future leasing agencies who contact them for rental history.
the noise was completely unbearable.
i called the columbus police several times while living there.
most residents are young rich kids who don't work and go to school and party all night.
i had a full time job along with school and the only time i got a good nights sleep in the 2 years i lived there was when the apartment above me and next door happened to both be vacant at the same time.
unfortunately, this was only about a 2 week period of time.
beer bottles, trash, vomit...there was always something in the grass or on the sidewalk in front of my apartment.
i think the worst problem (maybe equal to the noise) was the spider/insect/rodent issue.
huge, hairy, creepy spiders everywhere.
rats, bats, raccoons, small snakes.
this place is not for the faint of heart.
i found myself killing these "wolf spiders" everyday.
they hang on the outside of the buildings, front doors, and make nasty webs on your vehicle.
never once in 2 years did i see the quarry have an exterminator out to take care of these problems.
my advice to anyone who is looking to please stay away from this place.
not recommended.

This sounds like a bunch of crap. I live at the quarry, parking lots are empty by 9 AM, and full again by 5 pm. Most of the people that live here work or go to school. The place is significantly quieter than any other apartment I found in Columbus, and in the even that you have an issue with stuff in the grass, if you call, they take care of it immediately. I've never seen beer cans thrown into the landscaping, let alone vomit. There is a bit of a bug problem with spiders, but seriously, snakes and rodents??? That's BS. It sounds like you had some bad neighbors, I've never had a noise issue in the past one year. That said, given the "young" crowd if you are middle-aged and/or raising a family, this probably is not the best place to live. I'd say this is ideal for young couples and professionals who are just starting out.
