UV is definitely is a good place to live. But, the apartments are not up to the mark. You will really surprise if I say that there is no exhaust to the toilet. If any smell is there, it spreads out in to the living area. The shower makes a big noise and you can not sleep if you hear that noise. Even the top floor apartment's shower noise also you can here. You can easily say whether the upper floor people are having a shower/poo/pee. Lots of noise from the neighboring apartments, student shouts, drunken cases and now-a-days stabbing also. If anybody wants to enter without key, just give a punch to the windows, everything breaks. So, it is much easier for thieves. No dish washer in the units. Not even enough lighting. They give freedom to paint your room as you wish, but they charge $100 in the end for that. Horrible management. No respect, dont even bother what you say. Just you need to listen what they say. Emergency maintenance is very good and prompt. Colony maintenance is also good. Lot of parking area. Huge sub-lease fees. Bus service is good. This is only advantage of UV. I live in the plan D two bed room unit. Second bedroom is only for the namesake. NO AC, No fan, and a tiny one too. This year rent was increased from 625 to 700 all of a sudden. I heard that the utilities fee goes up to $135. Literall you will be paying that amount for nothing during summer. Sometimes they organize some tripes as eye wash. So, think twice before moving.
