This apartment complex LOOKS clean, the amenities LOOK good, and the price LOOKS right.

Here's what you DON'T know: they don't put any official message into your MAILBOX. They put them ON YOUR DOOR. Where they might blow away. Where someone might take them. They allowed rodents to run about in the attic space of my apartment, where they ate a hole in my ceiling of my second bedroom upstairs. When I moved in, there was no toilet holder in the bathroom, no towel bar either. The water was turned on, but there were no hoses in the sink. My basement drain backed up and smelled like sewage, containing, of all things, a used condom that CERTAINLY wasn't ours. When emergency maintence was called, (which took several hours to get a hold of, by the way), they did not come that night. In fact, they waited FIVE DAYS to come fix this problem. They allow the large dumpsters to become full to overflowing. Once, we had a bank error, and when we went to the office to correct it, we were told "No, you don't owe us anything." The very next week, they threatened us with eviction. This is BEYOND ridiculous.

We're moving out of here asap, as we don't wish to live in sub-par conditions with office and maintence staff who really don't care as long as they are getting paid. It's worth the hassle to buy out my lease and just leave.
