I lived in Hunters Lake Apts for a year and loved it. The trick is to get an apartment with a view and on a corner. I had a "garden room" apt that faced the back woods and was on a corner, so my apt was bigger all around. It used to be really quiet when I first moved there, but has been going a little downhill since. New neighboors have been moving in consisting of young families so there can be some yelling sometimes. Overall, I am a college student, and it was very quiet for studying.
The management has changed, but not for the better. They can be shady at some times (not getting back to you and disorganized) but if you handle everying well, then you should have no problems.
