Not the greatest, though I've seen worse

The apartments are very nice. The layout is much more like a house then it is an aparment. It is also very spacious.
However, if you get a chance to choose which building to live in, make sure it is 2220 (the building with the leasing office in it). That building far exceeds the other one.
Now, the staff that you have to deal with sucks. If you talk to anyone in the leasing office they will lie to you just to get you off of the phone. The only way to get anything done is to call and call and call. Believe me, even then it doesn't work so well. However, I do have to say that the maintenance men are very friendly.
When it comes to prices, they are kind of weird about that. It doesn't really depend on when you come into Portage Towers and sign the lease, it's more based on if they like you or not. When I moved in I was told that the rent was $568 for a one bedroom and a parking space in the garage. That was close to a year ago. I just had a friend move in about two months ago and he is only paying $475 a month. Can anyone tell me how that works' In conclusion, you can't expect any set rate rent because it changes from person to person.
I can't complain about the noise, it seems like they deal with that very well. There is a two strike policy. If any resident has two noise complaints, they are no longer welcome to live in Portage Towers.
Overall, there are a lot of bad things going on here at Portage Towers, but I guess there are a couple of good things.
