This is really a good choice for a complex. It's right near Route 8, the management is fair and available and the units are comfortable. I find it hard to believe any critiques on the noise level because the building is constructed of concrete--a great sound barrier. The large 14" balcony window brightens the apartment (unless you are in the basement units). Parking is ok, but renting a spot underground is worth it--think of those wonderful Ohio winter mornings. The only problem I would mention is that some residents were vandalizing the facilities. To their credit the management reacted and sought to resolve the issue with extra security.

I moved here in August 2005. Now March 2006. I would love to break my lease. They changed management once more and they stink. The "secure" garage leaks like it's raining inside when it raining outside. The garage ceiling is falling down on the cars ..and the secure doors get stuck open for hours. The drive ways and parking lot are not cleared when it snows and I slide back into the garage one day because of the ice. There is trouble with the key to get into the garage. It costs 25 more a month and over priced. Security stinks here. One man on at night from 10pm-4am. Repairs do not get done mostly due to office miscommunication to maintance. Connie and some other great staff left. There was 6 cars broken into this past weekend and a garage key was stolen from one of the vehilcles along with guns and radios etc. The office acts like its no big deal. "We are looking into it", but in the meantime half of akron now has a copy of our garage key. There is a residence counsel that never meets and you cant get the name of the person from the office. They wont tell you. Fire alarms go off once a week at least until school starts. Radios blast. Old residents are afraid and young women are being accousted in the outside parking lots. The cars outside are also being hit into and broken into. There was a lot of stealing out of the apartment also. Until this place gets it act together I wouldnt suggest a dog should move in here!!! On the good side, most the residents are nice but dont socialize. They do have a party room in each building and exercise rooms (although the equipment is antiquated) and the maintance does try hard once they know what your problem is. We have a HUGE pharoah ant infestation and some coachroaches. The buildings are old and the cupboards windows etc are always being worked on. Water has been shut off at least once a week on the average since I moved in and the last time it was for the whole day. The laundry rooms have new machines so that is a plus. People are always stealing notices off the announcement boards. There was a used condom in the elevator the other day. The elevators go out all the time. There is security cams for the front door..but not for the back doors or garage. In the office there are not only not watched but are off broken half the time! The elevator key was taken twice that I know of which puts one elevator out of commision. When I move in the place was filthy but no one in the office was overly concerned. The only time I saw the pool not green was before labor day when they closed it! Our electric went out and I found out we didnt have security lights in the hallways. Since then that has been taken care of.I am CERTAIN you can find a better place to live!!! Seems Cuyahoga Falls is now bring in the riff raff and things here will soon be extended from Akron! What a shame!!
