Ok, so a new management group took over. True, there have been many changes. However, they are mostly cosmetic. Paint, blacktop, new shrubs, etc. Come on!!!! At least fix the felt on the pool table so you can actually play and not have to shoot around the holes!
Recently, instead of getting someone to empty the trash chutes more regularly, we now have to take our trash downstairs (hope the elevator is not broke - again!), go outside, and hopfully there is someplace other than the ground to put it because more often than not, the dumpsters are overflowing. The dumpsters have a top edge about as high as your head - it can be really hard to get a bag to go in. Feel like tossing your trash about 6 feet in the air so it can land on top' (hope it doesn't fall off and rip!) Can you see elderly people or those with back/shoulder issues doing this' That would have been enough for me not to move in, but it's too late for me.
I still have small ants that get into anything not stored in the fridge or tupperware. Forget being able to use a coffee pot - ant coffee anyone' Even worse - these dang ants bite! I have itchy spots where the ant got in my sock one night and made circles around my ankle, biting until it found it's way out. The exterminator comes and goes - but the ants are here to stay it seems.
I am supposed to have a useable storage unit in the basement, but I keep hearing stories of things ruined by water and mice or rats. Now they tell us we can rent the closet by the elevator for 10/month. Multiply that by 9 floors, 2 buildings... ok - are they going to use that money to fix the storage unit I'm paying for but can't use'
They are busy repainting parking numbers and sorting out who owns the bikes in the garage I guess.

In response to this review - the cameras can NOT see inside of an apartment. The intent is to catch anyone throwing anything off of their balcony. Any resident that is worried about a camera seeing inside of their apartment can visit the office and watch the monitor that views the balconies for themselves.Mark Spagnuolo Property Manager Portage Towers
