I would not recoment Portage Towers to anyone that I like. Our carpet has been terribly stained, and coming apart since we moved in. Our walls are cracking, ceiling plaster is bubbling, black mold is EVERYWHERE and no one seems to want to do anything about it. These apartments are expensive to begin with. You should not have to fight with people to make the "suites" a mid grade standard. We once had a bad gas leak coming from the stove so we called the so called "24 hr maintenence". Their response was "thats not an emergency but you can request a work order". We also had an issue with our freezer going out. Again we called the "24 hour maintenence"....once again..."thats not an emergency but you can request a work order". DONT MOVE HERE!! I would rather move back in with my mother!!
