They're out for the quick buck....

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Upon arriving, site unseen, I was impressed...everything was clean and white. However, as time passed...neighbors downstairs were loud and obnoxious. But I tossed it up to the reality of having children since I have two of my own. We never received a complaint till the last month we were living there. And low and behold it was from management. They were showing the apartment below us and my two year old son was running and playing upstairs in ours. We were told that it sounded like the roofers were pounding away on the roof and the people said they could never live beneath us. We were asked to be quiet while they were showing the apartments. Well, that's fine and dandy but what happens after they move in''' So, either one or both of us would end up being miserable for a year, right' Just so they can get someone in''' Doesn't seem right.
If you're considering moving into this development, also consider the fact that you sign more paperwork than Carter has liver pills. Just read the fine print carefully. We have a pug which is in the midst of training for "apartment" life (he spent the first year of life able to roam almost freely prior to living here). He had accidents in the hallway and also in my sons bedroom. We are now expected to pay for the replacement of the carpets THROUGH OUT the apartment...not just the hallway and one bedroom where the problem lies. The bill is just over $1200. They're nice enough to offer payment plans...gee...thanks. How about just replacing the carpeting that is in need of actual replacement. That would impress me more.
Needless to say, I would not recommend this development for families that have children or pets.
