The Cannery is by far the best place to live in Dayton for urban professionals that expect quality lofts. There isn't another property that can compare. I recommend the Cannery. No kids, bars, spa, etc in the building. You don't find this in Dayton, or Ohio for that matter. I've lived here 3 years and have no plans on moving. This is not for suburban soccer mom types, but a downtown place for urbanites. If you don't fit this description, you will probably not like it. If you do...you'll love it a lot.

I don't know what Cannery this person lives in, but the cannery I live in has a bar, a restaurant, and a spa, as well as an art gallery which features ridiculously loud music from time to time. And talk to my upstairs neighbors - their kids run around the apartment all the time. Don't believe the hype.
