I plan to move in during July/August. All section 8, felons, low lifes, etc. were evicted when the new managaement took over.Current 85% vacant. They are really striving to improve this place. You must pass a background check, have good credit,not have a criminal record and not have been evicted from your previous apartment. They are putting over 20 million dollars in improvements to the place. I have so far witnessed whole apartments being painted,new carpet, cabinets,whole buildings being redonr, the pool is open, and other improvements. I was shocked! I am giving it a chance. So far I recomend it. This is anew owner who took over in March, 2007. This corporate entity is a New York investment group. Currently they are running rent specials, but that will soon change.

UPDATE!!!

Was supposed to have moved in this Friday, my agent never called my back. I then called her, and was told that they could not rent to me due to my student loans etc.

I am an aviation professional and at my previous apartment always paid my rent on time!! I had already began to pack, shut off my utilities and made arrangements with my landlord to move, and now this. Maybe things at Woodland Hills hasn't changed after all. If these intellectually challenged people can't do a proper check of thier potential clients, tell me I am approved then revoke it after I am already and set to go, you may not want to live here.

Anyway, found a better place. Check out Salem Woods or Willowood Apartments, just don't rent in the 3423 building at Willlowood if you do, bad sewer leak!! vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

Be glad you were rejected. I was approved and this was a big mistake. Nothing in my apartment was fixed the paint job was a mess, I can not lock my patio door, no screens in the windows and to top it off I have no ac at all. They told me they will fix it- I will keep you updated on that. I can not open my windows come to find out after they painted the outsides of the buildings, they painted my windows shut Help who can I call for some help LEGAL AID, TURN TO 2 OR JUST PUT MY MONEY IN ESCROW.

You have to give them a chance, at least you got a roof, you have to give them time, they have come along way from before, you just need to have patience.
