We moved in September and from day one, there were problems. First day we moved in, the air conditioning was damaged and it took 3 days to get it fixed.

But the problems just got worse when the neighbors above us moved in in November. First, their toilet tank came loose and was leaking down along our bathroom wall and floor. It took them a week to get that fixed.

Also since November, there has been a leaky pipe from their apartment that has been leaking into one of the bedroom walls, the ceiling above the tub and the closet in the bathroom. It took multiple complaints to finally get them to fix it in March. About a month later, we realized that it was a lazy patch job since it started leaking again.

We've complained every week to the manager about it & get the "I'll send someone over to look at it" excuse. But it seems she's too busy talking to & driving her relatives(who get free rent) around town on the clock than to care about the complex. Maintenance seems to only care about the pool and the grass than fixing anything while taking their daily 2 hour break(when it's supposed to be one).

At this point, our lease is up next month and will not be renewing it. We will be finding an apartment that can fix a simple leak quickly. One simple look on the outside of the buildings shows that they don't care. There are roofs starting to cave in & gutters falling. Either this complex is run by a slumlord or the staff at the complex are just too lazy to fix the problem.
