I have lived in chatham village for a couple of years and I agree with the minor issues of parking dogs barking and college parties. Also when it snows they do not really take care of the grounds well. Considering all this I still liked the community until they decided to employ the alcoholic apartment manager. She is extremely rude, and impersonable. Not to mention she is either drunk, or has been drinking everytime I have had to deal with her at least by mid afternoon. Also it seem that since she has been here the screening process has went downhill. I believe her only focus is to just fill the aprtments and anyone who presents a paystub has been granted to move in here. I also fee lsorry for the poor children that live here with there families bc i think it is her personal goal to make them unhappy. Also I have to wonder how many times a day she drives through the complex intoxicated and unbearable. The tenants needs seem to be second place and it takes constant reminders for any issues that she has to deal with. If she didnt spend so much time drinking she may have time to do her job...Everyone that has come in contact with her states her to be unattentive and rude. I am moving and cannot wait to never come back here. I used to praise the efficiancy of everything that was done here but there has been drastic and immeasurable changes that are making people move out. I feel sorry for those who are signing leases her and strongly suggest that you look closely when coming to chatham village.

I find it hard to believe that the manager is drunk all the time and driving through the complex. I am relocating from Tennessee to Ohio and looked at these apartments. Susan, I believe was her name, was very attentive to my needs, very professional and anything but intoxicated. I haven't found an apartment complex yet that didn't have some downfalls and things that needed to be taken care of. I can only assume that if this woman was constantly drinking that she would not be capable of running, what I thought, was a professional business. I also cannot believe that she would still be employed. You must have a personal issue with this person. Shame on you for trying to sabatoge her employment and the company name.

LOL!OMG I thought ot was just me!!!! Yeah, she was wearing the aroma of "liquor" one day when I went to the office, and I think she doesnt give a crap about this complex whatsoever! We were "snowed" in our apartment a few times this winter...which doesnt make sense since Vaughn group owns a snow plow and it is on the property, and was sitting in back of the office!!! Maint. people as individuals are nice but who could blame them for being so relaxed when there upper management sets the trend. This place was not all it was cracked up to be. Rent here is NOT comparable to the service you get from the office and the maint. and the manager. Everytime I call the office there is someone new answering the phone who "claims" to take my maint. request. I might as well go out and write it in the snow since they dont respond to it or the maint problems. There are alot of college age people here and occassionally you will catch a party or two, or three, or four. I think they need to do a major overhall or start charging less rent here. But dont get me wrong...who wouldnt like to be in a lease pay 800 a month for, parties, lousy service and rude people in the office?
