not so great place to live... i did like the workout facility provided free by chatham. BUT i was promised a new fence in the back yard never recived!!!!. i had many many things go wrong while i lived there leaking windows that left holes in the walls.. never repaired only fixied leak... windows needed cauled the day we moved in that never happened. sinks leak and froze during winter.. repair guys said they would insulate the pipes this never happend!!! heat will not reamin in the appt so expect large vectren bills.. or use ceramic heaters.. expect large electric bills... dishwasher flooded kitchen while we were not home carpet was never cleaned!!! and we were responsable for cleaning up the mess.. we got a cat and soon found out that there were MICE!!! this was the worst experiance i have had at rental. i would reccomend Van Buren... same layouts no workout facility.. but when something goes wrong they fix it promtly!!! the right way the first time. and they are more affordable!!!!

Just moved in to chatham village in january 2010. They have replaced almost if not all of the fences. Yes, windows are drafty, for less than $10, you can insulate with plastic. Maintenance has been out promptly to fix a few problems and never left a mess.

I currently live here and just moved here in July. Since then, we have had serveral problems. First our air conditioning, which took a very long time for them to fix while it was nearly 100 degrees outside. It ended up being about eighty five in our town home for a week and a half! I have found cockroaches, bed bugs, many spiders, and today...a mouse in our unit! Our cat found it. It is rediculous. We are very clean people and have no idea why there are so many disgusting things coming into our home. We absolutly loved it when we picked it because it's very spacious and affordable..but sorry it is gross. Our neighbor yells terrible words to her kids all day everyday and another that just recently moved out used to keep so many bags of trash in their back yard area, this was our view from our bedroom window...nice. Overall we have just been so stressed out living here. Thank God we work most of the day so we don't have to spend too much time here. I have never complained about anything, but this needs to be said so other people don't make a mistake.
