I've lived here going on three years and enjoy it. Although I live in the back portion of the complex off of Croftshire not Scarsdale. It has its issues, but you will really get that with any place. Maintenance has really picked up the pace recently (they have hired new staff). Keep in mind they come out based on the urgency of the problem. Someone with a leaky faucet will be put after someone with a broken heater in the middle of winter. If you keep calling and bugging them they will send someone out!
We live a two bedroom town home, and the noise is not a problem (I can't speak for the apartments). Our neighbors are pretty awesome, and fun to chat it up with. If anything, our house probably causes the most noise on the block. It is very expensive to live! Don't let that deceive you, the windows and doors are not well insulated, but if you put plastic up in the winter it shouldn't be too bad.
Staff here isn't especially great, but I suppose it can't be easy to run a complex. Every year we sign our lease we get 'coupons' two for 25 dollars off rent and one for a free carpet cleaning (don't loose them like we did!)
All in all, I really enjoy living here, and haven't had TOO many issues. We have the two bedroom town home and pay about 950 a month with all utilities included, so come prepared!

Must be nice. We didn't get $25 off rent coupons. We always pay rent on time and are going on our third year living here. They are very inconsistent.

I am interested in getting an apartment there in about 6 months, I am wondering, do they check your credit, like most apartments? I don't have the best credit and it is only going to be in my name, what are my chances? But on my credit, I don't have anything like not paying rent, or things dealing with leases, just something relatively small. Any response would be great.
