I lived in Chesapeake for two years. It wasn't the worst place I ever lived, but it wasn't the best, either. The staff turns over a LOT, which is always a bad sign. If people don't want to work there, do you really want to live there' Also, our neighbors were soooooo loud at weird times of the day and night. We constantly complained, but nothing happened. The kitchens and bathrooms really need serious updating. They're very '70s-looking.

That said, there is noplace else in the area you can pay reasonable rent and get a WBFP in your unit. Also, the pool stayed open past Labor Day, which was always nice. They painted the entire complex just before we moved out, and that really did make the area look nicer. The giant fish pond is really pretty to walk around. Oh, and the units are pretty big. Two full baths for a two bedroom' That's kind of nice.

I guess the big thing is, just realize you won't get a super quiet environment that's very up-to-date.
