I recently moved out of Emerald Lakes. I lived there with my wife and stepkids for one year. The complex is very well maintained on a consistent basis. I always found the management staff to be very courteous and responsive to my needs. I have heard/read multiple complaints about the trash piling up. Keeping in mind that hundreds of people use the same recepticle and many people put huge objects in the dumpster, I rarely found trash disposal to be a problem. Some people are never satisfied.

Our unit was a three bedroom townhouse. The layout was very nice, with a large kitchen and excellent closet space. This apartment was easily the nicest I have ever lived in. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Emerald Lakes to anyone. My move was only necessitated by personal reasons, not dissatisfaction with any aspect of Emeral Lakes. The complex is very conveniently located close to I675, local shopping and restaurants, but not so close to be a distraction. Very nice neighborhood and excellent schools.
