I lived in Georgetown of Kettering for one year and I would not recommend it to anyone. It is not that the other tenants are bad, although one night someone through a brick of firecrackers at one of my neighbors which was not reassuring. The buildings are old, that is true, but the real problem is with the management. Whenever I went to the office to talk to someone, the entire staff would be sitting outside smoking and they would tell me that they would take care of the problem later. Of course, they never did because they never had pen and paper in hand to make a note of what unit I lived in or what the problem was. I was always made to feel that I was interfering in their smoke break! I don't care if people want to smoke outside but this seemed to be the chief activity of the office staff. I would like to have a job where I could sit around and smoke all the time but unfortunately I have to work at a real job.
