Well i fell in love with the beauty of the buildings it looked so classic to me i just had to live here no matter the cost! WELL i'm paying for that way of thinking every month! the heartland bill is a joke! it goes up every month no matter what you do to try to get the cost down. for one person in a townhouse 66 bucks a month for water, trash, "common" electric what in the world is that anyway' and "common" gas.
the other problem i have is thet oh yeah the outside of the buildings are nice the inside is GHETTO! holes in the countertops, holes in the carpet, was cleaned "half ass" before i took occupancy, paint that is so not done professionally or by anyone who cared about the quality of their work. my carpet smelled like dog pee for months from the previous tenants and after calling the office repeatedly i must say Jennifer did a good job of getting the carpet replaced once i finally got to talk to her, but none of the other girls cared they just blew me off and told me they would call me back but never did! the maintenance is great every issue i've had was dealt with in a reasonable amount of time (except for the pee smelling carpet which wasn't the maintenance guys fault) and the office staff have never been downright mean. there is no parking near your apartment so be prepared to walk a mile to get to your place unless you get off work early enough to beat everyone else home! i plan on moving ASAP because it's just not worth the money i dish out every month! the floor plans are huge though they would be fantastic with some real renovations and care.
