Horrible, horrible Experience

This is by far the worst living experience that I have ever encountered. I am sure that the living conditions were better in Baghdad and that is without Sadam. The parking is ridiculous there are new scratches and dings on both of my cars constantly. You have to do an Austin Powers 150 point turn just to get out of your paring spot. And forget about ever parking close to you apartment, especially if you work later than the others. Upon the first day in the apartment the gate on the back patio fell off its hinges and nearly smashed my nephew. Doors falling off hinges became a theme of our apt. My wife and I both on separate occasions were hit in the head by the laundry room doors falling off its track. The screen door was bent up and you could never lock it and it too fell off nearly taking out a friend. The front door molding fell off revealing a giant hole just in time for the winter. The only thing that maintenance did was slap a cheap kick plate over the hole. Moving on to windows: I think that these are the original windows from the 30's, or even possibly recycled from the colonial days maybe' Either way they too are dangerous and in great need of destruction and replacement. You can have a model shoot in front of the windows, you know, the ones where the beautiful girls hair is blowing in the wind. Don't even try to get them open, there is so much paint on top of paint that it is impossible to move, however, if you do get them open, don't expect to have them stay open, as they slam shut randomly on their own. Upon moving in they say that there was a "white glove" inspection for cleanliness, however, this is a horrible lie, unless their white glove is one that used to be white until it came into contact with any surface in my apartment, and leaving out the latter. The A/C broke and took a few days to get repaired. Our neighbors constantly smoke in their apartment, this would not be a problem if it didn't poor into our apartment. It actually smells in our apartment like someone is in here smoking, absolutely disgusting, especially since we have a baby. We have tried to address this issue numerous times and all the do is come in and state that they do not smell anything, then look at us as if we are crazy and making things up. This has the potential of a lawsuit, however, these people are not worth my time and I am counting down the days until my lease is up. I could go on and on about just how disgusting, old, decrepit, and over priced these slums are, but I have to go and fix stuff around the apartment, our electric bill is nearing $200 from having all of our heat poor out the door and windows. Talk about being "green" in the year 2009 they do not have a recycling option for the cheep and disgraceful complex. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Wow....same problems with our doors, and management? don't get me started! they did the same with us...only difference is the neighbors were smoking pot, and management just laughed and said for us to call the police and have them take care of it. There was not one day that went by that we didn't feel like we were living in hell...so we broke our lease, found a house to rent...and now are living in a wonderful neighborhood and saving 200 a month...by the way, it's a three bedroom house just up the road in cul-de-sac....Like night and day difference! I don't think I ever would have imagined that apartment living could be so horrible, and I will continue to warn others about Georgetown~
