Georgetown appears to be a decent community from the outside. The insides of the apartments/ townhomes are in terrible condition. appliances are oldfashion, kitchen counter tops have numerous scratches with paint chips. The kitchen and bathroom floors are actually a poor plastic covered substitute for tiles. The toilets run continously for hours/days or until maintenance can fix them. the windows are all broken and cracked. the screens are busted, the paint chips from the old wood are constantly peeling off. You can't keep the window open without using a stick or something else to hold it open. forget about staying warm during the winter. NO insulation whatsoever, except for the mere attempt to keep heat in your apt by putting plastic over the windows in the winter. The water, trash , and sewage bill from heartland if ridiculously expensive. DPL bills are high!make sure to buy Raid insect spray to deal with bugs and flies! oh and finally security is wonderful since the local police and FBI agents make a weekly visit for the numerous crimes and drug bust!... so for a wonderful price and the convenience of living in kettering This broken down community could be yours with just a simple call to georgetown!
