Best Palce to Live in Dayton

I found out about The Landing 2 weeks before moving to Dayton. I never had a chance to visit prior to moving but I was very happy with my decision. The property has an apt tower and adjacent to that are the garden apts where I live. They are large(1 BR 800 sq ft)include W/D, a reserved parking spot for ea. unit (many residents own 2 cars, and there's more than enough space in the lot to accommodate), maintenance requests are handled very promptly, the area and residents are very quiet. The area is very safe and the only noise you really ever hear might be from the occasional emergency vehicle driving by. If you work downtown or at Miami Valley Hospital this is the best downtown location for the money. Competition includes the St Clair & Cannery Lofts, both of which are more costly, have parking problems and are located in noisier areas downtown. If you exercise, The Landing is located on the river with access to a bike path and the tower houses a nice YMCA and a smaller fitness room for residents only. The management and staff are absolutely great. I am moving to another state and I only wish I could find an apt with a similar floorplan and is equally as nice. You would be crazy NOT to live here...it is worth your while.
