Nice place to live

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived here for a year after graduating college. It's not the most updated place ever-- no dishwasher, a wall A/C unit, small closets-- but it was a nice place to live, especially for a single person.
The management were really kind and always remembered me when I came to pay my rent. They'd offer cookies and ask how I was doing, etc. I never had any maintenance issues, and they paid for the heat and water at the time (not sure if they still do). The grounds were very well-maintained and my apartment was pristine when I moved in. The block I lived in was very quiet and the pool was never noisy or too crowded.
The only downside is that the laundry areas are kind of creepy, in the basement, but for what you pay, it's much nicer than any other apartments in the area, in my opinion. I would live there again if I had to choose all over. I had a friend who lived in the complex next door, Patterson House (which is comparable in price) and had issues for the entire 1.5 years he was there. I was sorry he wasn't living in Sycamore Square with me because I never dealt with any problems at all.
Overall, highly recommended.
