I lived there for a year, they didn't get my mailbox fixed properly, it's still wide opened today. My water heater never got fixed, nor did the A/C. It's a great community because it's close to everything, but don't let that fool you into moving in. They use a billing service company that charges for account activation and disconnection. They are notorious for charging late fees, even if you pay your bills on time. They will suck you dry!!! If you don't believe what I've said about them, please check with the Better Business Bureau. The list of complaints for Villager Apartments and their billing service company, Heartland Regional Power Company are long. One more thing, they will never return your deposit, it doesn't matter how well you've maintained the apartment. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

This is ALL TRUE!! I've lived here for decades and I know from experience as the oldest resident. I've lived here since 1969.

This person is not joking. I lived there nearly five years. Larry Connor does not care about people. Larry Connor cares only about his investors. You can't make a profit if you replace what is broken but you might make a profit IF you repair it (or act like they are). I went years without repair to an upstairs neighbors washing machine's filth emptying into my kitchen sink (daily) due to improper installation of the w/d hook ups to units. These installations are most units in the community and I later learned that this unsanitary practice is a violation of health department codes. Keep in mind too that Heartland Regional Power IS own and managed by the Connor Group! (DUH!!) when they don't jack your rent up by $25 - $50 or more each year you pay for it via escalating fees. BTW, the sales staff bonus' are based on having residents renew 120, 90 or at least 60 days in advance of your lease. It's criminal that Larry Connor (the Connor Group) or the Slum Lord of apartment communities. His investors are WOWED by their rate of return. The Villagers was THE premiere place to live even up to 10 years ago. The place is a DUMP now!
