WE HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ONLY A SHORT TIME AND WE HAVE HAD FLOODS, MOLD, MILDEW, AND BAD MAINTENCE. AFTER SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IT'S STILL NOT THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THEY ACT LIKE YOUR RENT IS A SPECIAL BUT WATCH OUT BECAUSE THEY WILL GET YOU! I KNOW SEVERAL OF PEOPLE WHO MOVED IN THE SAME MONTH AND THERE ARE 3 DIFFERENT RENTAL RATES FOR THE EXACT FLOORPLANS. THE MOLD AND MILDEW IS MAKING FAMILY AND THE OTHER TENANTS FAMILIES SICK (FATIGUE, UPPER RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, NAUSEA, HEADACHES AND MORE ). PLUMBING IS A HUGE PROBLEM AND THEY ARE TO CHEAP TO HIRE THE RIGHT PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED FOR THESE TYPES OF JOBS CONCEARNING OLDER BUILDINGS. THEY ARE NEVER CLEAN WHEN YOU GET READY TO MOVE IN AND THE EXCUSE IS ALWAYS THAT THE PERSON HAD JUST BEEN FIRED BUT IT'S FUNNY THAT THEY HAVE TOLD THAT TO A NUMBER OF PEOPLE OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS.......SO IF YOU LIKE POOLS OF WATER IN YOUR KITCHEN AND RAW SEWAGE IN YOUR LIVINGROOM THEN RENT FROM THE VILLAGER'S LLUUXXEERRYY APARTMENTS HOMES! ENJOY THE CENTERVILLE LUXURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had the exact same stuff happen to us. We also got the backed up sewage in our hallway and living room. I'm talking turds the size of Canada!! And it wasn't our crap. It was everyone's in our building. Everytime they flushed, it would flow into our apt. Then instead of replacing our destroyed carpet with new, they ripped up our crapped on carpet, took it to the parking lot and "cleaned and sanitized" it, so they said. Then laid it back down!!! Our microwave broke and they told me that it wasn't in the "Villager budget" to replace. Our freezer won't even freeze ice and the fridge leaks, the toilet always runs, we have mold and mildew all around every window and in our bathroms. I've tried everything to get rid of it on my own, but it keeps coming back. I've had maintenance just walk in my apartment before with me just in my t-shirt and panties. The floors and walls are paper-thin and you can hear every step your neighbor takes if you live on the lower level. I was told these apts. were sound proof when I moved in. Sound proof my ass!!! I just heard my neighbor fart as I'm writing this. Everything is so old and outdated. I actually have different colored cabinets in the kitchen, the tiles are old and peeling up and the windows are so old, which allows cold air to just poor in. All summer we didn't have a properly working air conditioner. It would always run (causing our bills to sky-rocket) and it would never get below 77. Maintenance were out several times and told me it was working fine. --------!!! Our unit is too small for our apt. and it looks 100 years old. But, of course, excuses-excuses-excuses. If something does get fixed by maintenance, it's totally half-assed. You have to fix things yourself here or learn to live with it.
