I moved into the Villager in sept 2007. First off they told me when i wanted to see my apt before signing the lease i wasnt allowed too cuz it wasnt finished and by law they couldnt show me it, after talking to a lawyer i find out thats a lie. I move in and the first day i move in there is still freaking people working on my apartment!!!

When i finally moved in the place was a complete mess it was never cleaned at all before i moved in. The shower didnt work, the heater didnt work, no hot water for 3 days, the windows didnt open no screens if they did, no lights outside, the floor was coming up, the air conditioner didnt work, the bathroom was falling apart, the dishwasher wasnt installed properly, no cable lines installed, thankfully i work for time warner or it would of been a $500 job, my shed is compeletly broken, and this was all i noticed in one day of living here.

So i had to spend the next month waiting for them to fix all these problems and all i got was a free month rent after arguing for hrs w the leasing lady named d@na who is a complete ----- once you sign a lease but is sweet before hand. Once i went to her supervisor things started to slowly get resloved but unfortunitly she quit because of all the bs she was dealing w so now d@na is the top dog.

After telling dana my ac was broke in sept i again told her that it was broke in march and its now june and still waiting for it to be fixed. Also the heater they have here is so old that gas prices are sky high and mine is even more so than my neighbors, i had a $300 bill in feb and $150 in march when my neighborhs had an $120 and $80. After arguing with the gas company who did nothing and the management here they finally gave me $100 off one month of rent but they refuse to replace the heater and say nothing is wrong but its obvious there is considering once i quit using it my bill dropped to $26.

I do not recommend this place to anyone at all what so ever i pray that people read these reviews so they dont get screwed like i did. This is by far the worst place to live and all the mantinace people even say that if these apt werent in centerville they would assume they were projects!!!!!! DONT MOVE IN!!!!!!

UPDATE!!!!

Yet more reasons not to move into this P.O.S In june after fighting to get my a/c fixed even tho i told them back in sept when i moved in it didnt work as stated above,they finaly had it up and running. Well 2 weeks after they fixed the a/c it broke again on 4th of July weekend. Granted the maintaince guy did come out quickly but admited he wasnt the regular guy n was only there for the weekend so there was only so much he could do, so he rigged it to get it to work over the weekend but assured me that he would have the maintance man come out and check it mon to make sure its correctly repaired. Well a week later the a/c broke again since that guy never told the reg maintance man about the sitituation so i had to go for yet another day w/o ac.

So once they at last had the ac working come to find out the pipe that takes the condensation from the unit to the drain inside the utlitiy closet was totally broken off. Me, not being a a/c repairman had no idea that there was a pipe to do this, but figuring, according to the land lady Dana a certified a/c man inspect the unit before i moved in, everything should have been working properly. Well come to find out about 3 weeks down the line that the broken pipe was causing the moisture to drip into my living room and bathroom, which i found out by walking barefoot and feeling it all wet underneath my feet.

I thought it was that my dog had peed there but i got on my hands n knees and felt that the wetness reached from the back wall by the utility closet clear down covering about 1/2 of my living room. So i call up maintiance and they come down n say o the pipes broken turn your ac off we will be back to fix it tommorow.

So there i am with all my furniture shoved to 1/2 my livingroom w no ac for that night. The next day maintaince finally shows up after 2 calls to the office at about 6pm making me sit in a living room all messed up in the heat w no ac. Once they show up they just put mighty putty around the broke off pipe and say it would be way too much work to actually repair the broken pipe.

Okay so the a/c is back up and running but the living room is still destroyed, the maintancemen ripped up the carpet and put an industrial fan under it making my entire apartment smell like mildew and mold. Also my couch now smells of mildew from sitting in water for 2-3 weeks and one of my tables legs were cracked due to swelling with water.

I go to the office to speak with Dana about when this will be fixed and what kind of compensation i will be given considering they ruined my furniture and inconvienced me by dealing with something that should have been taken care of before i even moved in. Dana says she will be out that day (Thrus) to get everything started but says that they will not compenesate me for any damages or for the inconvience.

So being upset i leave the offices and like anyone else who would be dealing with this crap say this is complete bull ish and screw this place and such on my way back to my apt. (Never once said anything to an actual person).

Well Dana has the freakin audacity to call the police on me!!! You brake my apt lie to me tell me you wont do anything to compensate me for all this and then call the cops on me for being upset''!!! What an awesome landlord she is!!! Top notch!!!

So after telling the police the sitituaiton they just leave w/o saying much to me, i continue to wait around my apartment for d@na to show up to get this fixed. Well time keeps on passing and guess what she never shows up!!

So i spend a second day with a stank smelly apt and the carpet all ripped up just to call in the next day asking where dana was and when this would be repaired to hear this. Um d@na is on vacation today and wont be back till mon, I dont know when the carpet people will be there but it will be sometime today.

Ok so i spend the rest of that day (Fri) all day waiting for them to come and guess what they never show up. So i call back yet again on sat asking where are the carpet people you told me would be out the past two days, which the lady replied I dont what happend but they cant come out now its the weekend, we will get them out mon.

So lucky me i get to go a total of 6 days with my carpet ripped up smelling like mildew and mold till mon when the carpet guy finally repairs the carpet but guess what noone ever came to clean it. So its now sept and still have they came to clean the stank smelly carpet.

Also i have just recently had my garbage disposal break which in turn has clogged up my sink and broken my dishwasher. I called thrus and asked that a repair man fix it fri, which they never showed up. I called fri and asked if it would be fixed this weekend and they said we will call you back. Guess what noone called back or showed up, so i got to go 4 days now with out being able to use my sink and now i have no clean dishes.

Its now mon i called yet again to have it fix i asked when will they be out to fix it they said they dont know sometime. Gotta love the villager staff and maintainace, come when they please but dont compenesate for your inconvience.

Honestly if you are considering moving here please dont, this is a hell hole ran by slumlords who do not care at all for thier tenates or thier needs. If there is a positive review be wary because more than likely its a staff member writing in to move thier rating up. Also check to make sure you dont rent from the Connor Grp. they are who owns this complex and many others. Check them out on the bbb site they have dozens of complaints against them and most are administratively closed meaning that the complaintee wasnt compensated for thier greivence.

Just check this all out look at all the negative reviews people are posting and do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER MOVE HERE, tell others not to move here either.
Thank God im moving at the end of the month and i can safely say that they will try and keep my deposit even tho im going to leave the apartment in a million times better shape than i moved into.

DONT MOVE HERE AND ADVISE ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE OUT THERE!!!

This is worse than the slums if anybody has noticed they had to quit calling themselves luxury apts Judge ordered it he said no way were the Villager Apartments luxury.

CEILINGS FALLING IN DISRESPECT TO ALL NO SYMPATHY FOR PEOPLE WITHWET CARPETS WITH BLACK MOLD SPREAD EVERYWHERE BAD MANAGEMENT BAD MAINTENANCE AND BAD CHOICE DO NOT MOVE HERE THE WATER COMPANY IS A RIP OFF IT STARTED OUT 13 DOLLARS A MONTH WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS TOLD BY THE LEASING QUEEN ANITA WHO IS NO LONGER THERE THANK GOD..
