nice and quaint, but not for children

I had a good experience at Van Buren. It isn't fancy by any means, but for a college student, or young married couple, I think it is great. I love the wood floors, but there is very thick paint on the walls. Lead paint is somewhere deep under other layers of paint, but i felt perfectly safe there, and I saw very little chipping of the paint. The parking isn't the best, most people park on the streets, where there has been some vandalism, but there are parking lots provided. My car wasn't vandalized, and it is a nicer 1998 VW. The management was very helpful, and helped us fix our stove. They keep the grounds looking very nice, and shovel the snow off the walks in the winter. It isn't a fancy place to live, but I would recommend it. It might not be the best place for children, though.
