The management here is awful. They have no idea what they are doing. No clue about how to run a business. They don't allow you to personalize your yard. You are not allowed to have a grill outside or have any patio furniture. The "Management" is completely unresonable.

Gonna have to call BS on that one. I had a grill and patio furninture around back. I had no problems with them...

I have seen grills outside... and lawn furniture on the more trailer-trash looking lawns... However I just received a poorly-edited flyer stating that any bikes, grills, lawn furniture left outside during the winter will be disposed of, so I hope everybody has a place to put their grill this winter. Those things can get expensive... But yes I have heard people have had trouble personalizing their lawns. I find it strange to a degree considering all of the knick-nacks around the apartment lawn across from mine. and there's a lawn chair on their porch too (it's an apartment as well). it's like garden gnome and flamingo heaven over there. And i've seen people put up lights and decorations for halloween and i don't think anyone got in trouble for it. i'd say just be sure to check with your neighbors before you so anything drastic.

It's no wonder everybody is raising hell about this property and owner,Dave Dutton is friends with Christopher Melvin, another slumlord with a property even worse(over there at 805 Wilmington Apartments). EEEE gads, I was thinking of moving to VBV, but not after finding this in the search! Heh, birds of the same feather flock together. Would you happen to have any pictures of the maintenance problems? I'd be so glad to make some copies, a couple other people are thinking of moving there and I want them to be sure they make an informed decision. Thank you
