Don't go to Woodman Park Apartments. I wish we would have shopped around before committing. we had a HUGE hornet's nest that tunneled into our apartment. we could hardly leave for work without getting stung. we told management and they said "we're not exterminators." We had to get a few cans of raid and blast the hell out of the nest when we got off work after 10 p.m.. basically, it was shelter. nothing worked when we first moved in and maintenance never fixed anything. they were so lazy. I had to fix up the apartment mostly without their help to make it livable. we worked late second shift and had to put a dead bolt to keep maintenance from coming in while we were asleep on days they were not requested to come into our apartment. it was so poorly insulated we had a $200 electric bill and still froze our butts off even though we used plastic over the windows. the baseboard heat is a joke. the air conditioners didn't work and it took almost 3 weeks to get them to add freeon to the ancient air conditioners. Oh, and we had to cross the courtyard to get to our apt from our car. Had more than a few nights trying to avoid being in crossfire of domestic disputes. we did not feel safe there. It was shelter. that's about it. cheap. so I guess you get what you pay for.
