Apartments are very cheap, therefore, the management/service is very unreliable. My daugther was a few days late with her rent, but within the guidelines established by the leasing agreement. When she showed up with the rent, the management told her that they could not accept payments as they had already started eviction procedures. They also told her that they will charge her with late fees and lawyer costs despite being ontime.

That is the most rediculous thing! I don't believe you for a second! If by "a few days" late you mean 11 days late...then yes the eviction would be started. Everyone always has their BS sides of the story! And the fact that Mom or Dad is doing the posting here...do you really think your irresponsible daughter is telling the whole truth to you. Give me a break!
